Tetris seems to be a no brainer to be recreated in LBP2, and this is a pretty admirable port. I like how the creator did the game along with its famous theme song, and the menu is pretty slick. Unfortunately, the pieces are too wobbly and the point values incorrect to be truly playable and authentic. Levels never progress, and there's no bonus for getting four lines, "bugs" which spoil the scoreboard. A neat port, but I can't see playing again without gameplay improvements.
This is the biggest reason I love LBP2. I don't need to buy other games.
As an avid Tetris player I found the pace of the game to be excruciatingly slow. Even at stage 5 I felt no imminent threat of error. Eventually I became tired of waiting and subsequently failed on purpose. The controls felt very innacurate and caused pieces to be placed in the wrong column several times. Although I was dissatisfied with the gameplay, I enjoyed the style. The minimalist design is a nice complement to the classic arcade game.
